Avatar is probably one of the best movies that came out in the year of 2009, if not then it was the best movie. In the movie a paralyzed man was conducted in a experiment which allowed him to switch into an avatar body. The company he was working for wanted him to do this because they wanted the man to get involved with the avatar race. This way they could have a way to observe their race and the way they lived....So he thought.
After spending so much time with the avatars, learning there heritage and becoming part of there race he finds out that hid company didn't really want to learn the way they live, but all along they were looking for a special substance. This substance would allow the owner of the company to gain more money.In order to get that substance the company had to tear down the homes of the avatars. Though the man who had been involved with the rest of the avatars had begin to grow attached to the family, so when he had to choose between right and wrong, and his job and the avatars. He chose with the avatars, so he told the avatars what the company wanted to do to their home. He inspired the avatars to fight for there home and stand up for what they believed in.
At the end of the fight, the avatars were the ones who were victorious and got the chance to stay in there home.
My personal opinion of the movie was that it was really inspiring for someone who needed to stand up for them selves. All around this is just a great movie considering it had action and a lot more different qualities including romance. Critics gave this movie a review rating of 4/5 stars. Me myself I would probably give it a 3.5/5. If you haven't seen it I would advise you to go see it.
